Looking for an acne remedy? Let me give a brief on what it is and what type of acne you have.

What is Acne?

Acne is caused when the follicles or pores of the skin become blocked. When the follicle becomes blocked, natural oils that would normally drain through the pores get blocked beneath your skin and bacteria can begin to grow.

There are two types of acne:

?	Non-inflammatory – Non-inflamed skin blemishes known as whiteheads and blackheads. Whiteheads may appear on your skin as little white spots and occur when the trapped oils and bacteria stay below the skin’s surface. Blackheads appear as little black spots and occur when the trapped oils and bacteria are turned black by the skin’s pigments.

?	Inflammatory – this occurs when the follicle wall ruptures causing the area to become inflamed. The first stage of inflammatory acne is the papule stage – when the follicle break occurs, this causes white blood cells to rush in causing the pore to become inflamed. The second stage of inflammatory acne occurs when the white blood cells reach the surface of the skin.

Acne Remedy

A physician can treat acne or it can be treated naturally. There are many over-the-counter acne remedies and in severe cases, your physician may prescribe medications. Be sure to discuss with your physician any side effects or interaction risks with other drugs or foods. There are natural acne remedies as well that have been proven to help decrease the onset of acne symptoms.

Some natural acne remedies include:

?	Diet – a healthy diet that includes whole, unprocessed foods such as fresh fruits and vegetables, and foods that contain Omega-3 fatty acids. You should avoid processed and packaged foods, foods that contain trans fats, and fried foods.

?	Vitamin A – helps to reduce overproduction of oils that can block the follicles.

?	Zinc – can help heal skin blemishes and helps to reduce inflammation of the skin.

?	Vitamin B6 – helps decrease sensitivity of the skin to the effects of testosterone and helps decrease outbreaks of acne during the menstrual cycle.

?	Tea tree oil – helps to reduce bacteria and inflammation during acne outbreaks.

?	Massage – massaging the skin helps to increase circulation and can prevent the blocking of follicles, or pores.

?	Baking Soda – can be used to exfoliate your skin and helps to neutralize acid content.

?	Evening Primrose – a natural remedy for pain and inflammation.

?	Aloe Vera – helps to reduce scars and improve overall skin condition. Aloe Vera is a good acne remedy

?	Carrot Juice – helps with digestion to prevent acne.

?	Cucumber Juice – helps to purify the blood and lymphatic system.

?	Egg whites – reduces swelling caused by inflammation.

?	Molkosan – this is derived from whey products and helps with digestion and helps to regulate metabolism.

?	Neem oil – oils from this tree have anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral properties that help to heal skin lesions.

?	Oatmeal – helps to draw oil and impurities out of skin.

?	Sugar – has antibacterial properties to help cleanse the skin.

?	Oregon grape – works as an antibiotic and can help stimulate the immune system.

?	Folic Acid – helps to reduce outbreaks that occur at the onset of the menstrual cycle.

?	Vitamin C – helps to boost the immune system.

As with many diseases and illnesses, the key to preventing the outbreak of acne is to live a healthy lifestyle that includes a healthy diet and regular exercise. A healthy diet provides your body with the nutrients needed to have healthy skin. A regular exercise routing helps to keep your blood flowing properly and helps to keep your skin healthy. You should learn which foods are more prone to cause acne outbreaks and avoid these foods.

Acne is sometimes the result of natural hormonal changes in the body brought on by the menstrual cycle. Eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly will help your body deal with these natural changes better and decrease the risk of an acne outbreak. It is important to keep your skin clean and free of bacteria that may cause inflammation during acne outbreaks. Living a healthy lifestyle will decrease your risks of acne outbreaks and will help you to combat the outbreaks should they occur.

So, I hope I have covered necessary tips on acne remedy and given an insight of various acne remedies.

Teenage acne is one thing, but amazingly enough, one of the most severe forms of acne is that which occurs at an adult age. Needless to say, adult acne treatment is quite tricky. Women in their thirties of forties that have never had any trouble with acne before may end up with red pimples overnight.

Thanks to advertising, pretty much any known acne remedy on the market fools buyers into believing it’s the miracle cure of their life. It’s essential not to be tricked by marketing schemes and to pick an acne treatment that comes only from an extremely trustworthy source. Otherwise, disappointment is imminent – there are millions of cases of ineffective treatments.

Self-esteem issues related to adult acne are most definitely not to be ignored. Just like being overweight, it’s one of the problems that have to be dealt with one way or another. Allowing the entire situation to remain as such, without doing anything to ameliorate and finally cure it, has drastic consequences on the long term.

This is the point where adult acne is different from the one teenagers have to deal with. Not only is it more serious, but people see teenagers with this problem differently. It’s almost a natural situation of being in your teens – nothing unusual. However, as an adult, it is viewed as generally unacceptable. Implicitly, an efficient acne treatment is necessary.

Needless to say, people generally assume the worse. The untidy aspect of being overweight or an acne sufferer is usually blamed on general negligence. Indeed, it is outrageously unfair that someone with acne, who has reached a certain age, doesn’t wash their face. In most cases, it is a simple a matter of hormones, or one of not having found the proper acne remedy.

Another aspect of adult acne is its tendency of leaving scars, which can be just as bad esthetically speaking, but utterly permanent. In this case, there are only two courses of action – accepting the situation and sitting back, praying for a miracle, or deciding to take action and fight the cause that is at the root of this problem by getting hold of the individual acne remedy that works best.

The general aspect of acne includes black heads, white heads and red pimples that may appear anywhere on the body, but mostly on the face. Sometimes, it also includes permanent scarring. Overactive oil glands are to blame – they are at the base of microscopic hair follicles and they cause inflammation and blockage.

There is no general miraculous answer to acne because it is essentially different from individual to individual. It may vary from mild to severe, and what may work for one person may not work or, worse, have the opposite effect for another. That’s why it is extremely important for you to consult with your dermatologist before choosing an acne remedy or another. Finally, don’t forget that acne must not be treated lightly. The fact that it is an extremely widespread issue does not make it any less difficult to get rid of.

introduction Natural acne remedies are proven as an effective strategy to treat acne. Acne is a common skin disorder that occurs in most people. It is manifested in the different parts of the body such as face, neck, shoulder, back and buttocks. Acne can be ignored but, for people who are conscious about their beauty and complexion, it will definitely be a problem. Since the present world is after glamour, acne requires special attention from the early stages.

Now, the popularity of the remedies is increasing since people are becoming more aware about the side effects of the chemicals used in conventional treatment. Natural remedies have no such problem and are assured to be completely safe, as the products used for the treatment are purely natural, which most often does not have any side effects. Another unpleasant leftover of acne are the scars.

The natural remedies are supposed to offer permanent cures for scars, if used continuously for longer period of time. Furthermore they can preventively act against future acne attacks.

Ancient literature also tells us that natural remedies for acne were used in those days – they specify many of such treatments for queens and beauties. The traditional medicine systems such as Chinese traditional medicine, Indian medicinal system-Ayurveda, and Kempo-the Japanese medicinal system, are effective in present circumstances too. Many of the alternative medicine systems such as homeopathy also depend on natural remedies for treatment. The natural treatment utilizes herbs, seeds, flowers, leaves, roots and minerals.

These remedies are commonly used as topical application, but oral remedies are also available. They can be utilized in different preparation such as poultice, powder, and decoction. They’re focused to cure the basic underlying cause of the acne. Acne appears because of the infection of bacteria in the clogged follicle – the natural remedies have active ingredients such as anti bacterial cleansers, which help to heal the bacterial infection and open up the skin pores. In addition to the acne treatment, they help to improve the complexion of the skin, since most of the natural remedies for acne are natural bleaching agents also.

Turmeric is one of the common ones. It can be mixed with the milk or curd to apply on the skin. In some Asian countries like India, it was a common habit to use turmeric while bathing, as the cleansing agent. Honey is also a proven natural acne remedy. You can put it on the face directly or you can mix it with other remedies such as lemon juice or sandal wood. The vegetables and fruits such as tomato, carrot, cucumber, and orange have also used as packs on the skin. Steaming and massaging is recommended as part of the remedy treatment. Now, as a result of the increased popularity of the natural remedies, many beauty centers offer them.

Natural acne remedies for acne also suggest lifestyle modifications, such as to follow a recommended diet and regular exercise. The recommended diet must include zinc and vitamins in sufficient qualities as they are proven to be effective in the acne treatment. To avoid stress and strain of the modern living conditions, mental relaxation techniques are also practiced.

Acne frequently appears around the face and neck regions but some people seek back acne treatment when they develop outbreaks on their back, it is often a more difficult area to treat. Acne is very common condition; nearly all of us have had to deal with acne in some form or another at various times in our lives. This makes acne the most common form of skin disease in the world.

The wide range of acne skincare, acne products, and body acne treatments available range from a natural acne remedy and herbal acne treatments, to acne medicines and creams, right through to laser acne treatment and acne scar treatment. Not to mention the many books and websites available that offer the latest method of acne prevention.

What causes acne? The condition of back acne takes a similar form to when it appears on the more visible areas of the body like the face, neck and chest. Generally, hormonal imbalances in the skin oil glands, known as the sebaceous glands, results in the skin pores becoming blocked and the appearance of lesions and blackheads, normally referred to as pimples, zits or spots. The condition often occurs when the body undergoes significant hormonal change such as the period during puberty in boys and girls, in women during pregnancy and when beginning to take or when they stop taking the birth control pill.

However, there may be several other factors that cause the condition specific to back acne which lead to more targeted body acne treatment. For example, the wearing of tight clothing may be a possible cause. Wearing tight clothing, especially on hot days, forces the perspiration and moisture generated by the skin to be trapped against your skin as it has nowhere to evaporate to, which results in the clothing rubbing and leads to irritation of the skin. Other forms of skin irritation in this area of the body would include carrying a heavy shoulder bag, rucksack or backpack, the straps of which would cause friction by rubbing the back region therefore attributing to the condition of back acne.

Back acne treatment is a more difficult condition to remedy than when it appears on the face, neck or chest, because the back region is a somewhat “hidden” part of the body. This makes it more difficult to reach when washing your body and harder to treat with acne remedies. In general you can alleviate the condition somewhat by not wearing tight clothing, make sure your clothes are clean and more loose fitting. Ensure that you clean the back well during washing using a soap containing salicylic acid, perhaps using a loofer. Also make sure you change your bed sheets regularly as bed sheets full of bacteria can significantly inflame the condition. Finally, never touch or squeeze the acne, as this will only make the condition worse.

Acne can be incredibly upsetting due to the profound physical effects it can have in some people. However, acne is an extremely common condition with many back acne treatments and loads of acne prevention advice readily available.
