Facial scrubs and masks are ridiculously expensive these days, and you barely get any for the price that you pay. Instead of throwing away money on them, make your own!

The aspirin mask both exfoliates your skin and heals blemishes and scars. Ive had a few acne scars on my cheeks that havent healed from any of the expensive masks, and this took care of them within a few days!

First, youll need a container of aspirin. Make sure its uncoated aspirin (it will be matte finished and white colored), because coated aspirin doesnt work for this. Youll also need some way to grind the aspirin up. I use a small kitchen grinder for this, but you can use a blender too.

Dump the uncoated aspirin into the grinder, cap it off, and let it grind down to a fine powder. You dont want any big chunks here, because theyll just fall off. Keep grinding until its uniformly thin. Itll need to be fine, because youll be adding water to it to create a paste.

After its ground to a powder, I put the aspirin right back into its container and set it next to the sink. When you need to use it, pour a little into your hand. Add a bit of water and rub your hands together to moisten the aspirin.

Gently apply the damp powdered aspirin to your face, rubbing softly. You dont want to dig the aspirin into your face, you just want an even coating of it. I apply enough around my entire face so that you cant see much skin underneath it. If you apply too much, youll just be wasting it and making a fine dust of aspirin as it dries, but too little wont really do anything.

Let it sit on your face for about ten minutes. Itll start to feel really dry and flaky after a while. Once thats done, simply rinse it off your face, and youre done! Youll immediately notice that your skin feels cleaner and less oily. I have very oily skin, and this mask completely removes the surface oil from my face.

If you feel that you need the extra edge, Ive mixed a small dab of honey and a splash of extra virgin olive oil to the whole thing to moisturize the skin while its being exfoliated and cleansed, but I find that it adds too much expense to what is supposed to be a very cheap facial mask.

I apply facial moisturizer after the mask to make sure that my skin doesnt dry out too much. I dont need to apply any other sort of facial creams or anything because the mask takes care of everything for me.

Your face feels refreshed and clean, and your wallet isnt completely empty for it. I use the aspirin mask every other day, and I dont have any problems with acne at all! Just remember to keep the powdered aspirin capped off, since it gets chunky from absorbing moisture if you leave it open for too long.br
The aloe vera plant is a high-sulfur member of the garlic family. The healing benefits of aloe vera juice gel have been known for over six thousand years. Cleopatra revered the use of aloe as one of her best beauty secrets. Further, Alexander the Great brought the aloe vera plant to the battlefield to treat wounded soldiers. In the United States, aloe first gained notoriety in the sixties to use as a salve on burns.

Today there are over two hundred scientific research papers outlining the therapeutic benefits of aloe vera juice gel. Although aloe is ninety-nine percent water, it also has more than 200 active nutrients and elements that support good health. Studies confirm that aloe vera heals the skin with its anti-inflammatory properties, burn healing capabilities and ability to decrease the effects of scars and wounds. Advantages of topical aloe vera use on the skin include:

- removes dead skin cells
- moisturizes by keeping the skin flexible
- provides oxygen to skin cells, resulting in improved synthesis and skin tissue strength
- reduces pigmentation intensity and lightens dark spots
- helps to transport healthy elements through the skin with its efficient diffusion properties
- speeds the healing and repair of skin that is damaged
- fights a variety of infections, including staph and fungus, with its antibacterial properties
- actually reduces pain with natural anti-inflammatory agents
- adds emollients to up to seven layers of skin for a smooth, moist appearance and healthy glow
- retards aging by adding moisture and increasing flexibility
- minimizes potential scars and can even reverse scars that are less than five years old
- balances and tightens skin with certain pH properties that act as a natural astringent

Aloe is an effective home remedy for a wide variety of skin concerns. The gel from aloe vera leaves can be directly applied to the skin for immediate natural healing benefits. Topical creams are available on the market that effectively include aloe gel with other healing ingredients. Many cosmetic products, such as skin moisturizers, make up, lipsticks, anti-wrinkle creams and lipsticks, incorporate aloe gel because it offers such a wide variety of skin care benefits. Additionally, allergies to aloe are extremely rare.

For healthy, smooth, attractive skin, try using products enriched with natural aloe vera juice gel.br
Whether you are a teen or an adult, a popular question is whether its possible to prevent acne. The truth is, because both internal and external factors can cause acne, there is no magical way to completely prevent acne. However, taking certain precautions will definitely reduce the number and severity of breakouts and even eliminate the occurrence of breakouts over time.

- First of all, keep your skin clean. Wash with a mild cleanser two to three times a day and dry off gently with a soft, cotton towel. Keep your fingers away from your face and avoid popping pimples. Squeezing an eruption can actually push pus into your pores and cause swelling, redness and scarring. Use an astringent to control oily skin and avoid clogged pores.

- Keep your hair off of your face and try to steer clear of hair gels and sprays. Hair products applied around your hairline can be the cause of pimples in that area.

- If you wear cosmetics, choose ones that are noncomedogenic because they wont clog your pores. Make sure to remove your makeup before going to sleep. Also, replace your cosmetics and makeup brushes frequently to avoid contamination.

- Having a healthy diet will reflect on your skin. Eating foods with vitamins and minerals such as Vitamin A, Vitamin B-6, zinc and other nutrients will improve your overall health, as well your skins appearance. It is also beneficial to consume antioxidants such as Vitamin C and green tea for their natural internal cleansing abilities. Drinking six to eight glasses of water a day also helps to flush toxins out of your body. It is advisable to avoid greasy foods that could cause an internal imbalance and aggravate acne.

- Incorporate exercise into your regular routine. Exercise will improve your blood circulation as well as oxygen penetration into the skin for a better complexion. Try to avoid stress, which can aggravate your skins balance and negatively impact your health.

Taking a few simple precautions helps to prevent acne and improves the appearance of your skin over time./pbr
